I am going on vacation and will spend the next week with my two gay friends, the sausages. I will have lots of stories to tell when I am back, so stay tuned for an update on June 9th.

coat.jpg

I get cold very easily and that in June, so it’s needless to say that I am not looking forward to December! But fear not, the internets has never failed and as expected, there is someone out there who designed snow coats. I can’t wait to talk my owner into buying me one.

I don’t know what they were thinking when they got that thing, but believe me… it freaks me out!

Lapdog or Art Director?

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

lapdog.jpg

Some people say I am a lapdog, I call it art directing my owner to ensure that her designs are up to my standards. So far, so good - but I wouldn’t want to take my eyes off her work for a second; you just never know what happens when you turn around!

Transport.jpg

I recently received a photo of me and a few of the other dogs that Ginger rescued from California back in March. She picked us up one day before we were supposed to get euthanized - thanks Ginger!!! I am the one in the upper right corner. Once I was in that kennel and on the truck I just knew that things would work out for me.

If you’re interested in adpoting a dog or being a foster parent for one of the new arrivals, please contact Ginger at: gingerluke@comcast.net

My friend Chili needs a home!

chili.jpg

Chili is one of the dogs that got rescued from the same kennel in California that I am from. We both were saved by Ginger just one day before we were supposed to die… and oh boy, do we feel alive! My owner tells me that I am the best-est dog EVER and I make her very happy. I can say the same thing about Chili - he is super fab! If you or anyone you know is looking for a new addition the family, I think you should email Ginger at: gingerluke@comcast.net

In his own words:

My name is Chili and I am a 2 1/2 yr old Purebred Chihuahua. I am housebroken, have all my shots, am neutered and ready to move into my new home with you!!! I am a happy and a great loyal dog to have around. I am calm and I would make a wonderful and excellent lap dog. My foster mom says I am the best dog she has ever had. I get along great with cats, dogs, kids and people of all ages. I am sweet and I love people so much. I weigh only 10 lbs and was rescued out of a very high kill shelter down in California. I am now up here in Washington State and waiting for my forever home to come get me!!! I can’t wait to meet you and be your forever friend. Please email Ginger and let’s meet soon! Adoption Fee: $ 425.00

Chilupas don’t like plastic cones!

cone.jpg

I’ve been wearing this cone for the last couple of weeks because of an eye infection, but believe me… it’s not fun for several reasons:

a) my eye itches and I can’t scratch
b) it looks like I am an olive in a martini glass
c) I keep running into furniture
d) the cat doesn’t take me seriously anymore
e) I look rediculous!
I’ve just about had it…!

What’s with all the names?

name.jpg

I don’t know what they’re thinking, but everyone seems to have a different name for me. And I am not just talking about my owners who both call me by a couple of different names. It’s hard enough to learn human language and do the things they ask me to. Sometimes I still don’t get it when they talk to me funny and expect me to do tricks. But the name thing is really confusing, how do I know they talk to me if they can’t agree on one name?

Just to list a few:

- ChiChi
- Monsieur Le Chich
- Senior El Chich
- The Chich
- Chimichanga
- Chubaka
